Job Description:

The Program Manager Specialist is responsible for directing all phases of aircraft modification and sustainment contracts from inception through completion adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

Essential Functions:

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders revenue recognition operating income and free cash flow for new continuing or current programs.
• Responsible for the cost schedule and technical performance of program.
• Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
• Responsible for Analyzing bids assisting in development of WBS / Deliverables / Schedule / Cashflow forecast.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost schedule and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
• Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers senior management and customer.
• Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical manufacturing and administrative areas to identify and assist in areas of improvement for systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Aircraft maintenance or modification experience
• Active Secret DoD security clearance
• Experience with Earned Value reporting and tracking
• Direct program and proposal management experience
• Experience planning scheduling and organizing proposals
• Ability to work effectively as the primary customer point of contact and the ability to interface internally and externally at all levels
• Engineering/Sustainment Planning Procurement Material Program Management or Manufacturing experience
