Senior Specialist, Communications

Description

• Work closely with functional leaders and business partners to develop and implement strategic internal communications plans campaigns and initiatives including the delivery of on-brand content and messaging for employees through a variety of mediums and channels (intranet email print / digital collateral video talking points articles town halls social media).
• Support the development and implementation of Finance and Supply Chain communications for C&Ss integration transformation.
• Edit and refine Finance and Supply Chain content for clarity accuracy and adherence to AP style ensuring messages are effective and aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with design team to produce graphics infographics and videos that complement editorial content.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend new strategies and innovative solutions.
• Work with the Director of Communications and SVP Communications & Marketing to ensure consistency with external messaging and strategy including matters affecting reputation and crisis response.
• Partner with vendors and consultants as needed.
• This is a hybrid position requiring work in the office three days per week with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week based on business needs.
• Travel as required to team business partner and / or company meetings.

Skills

• Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills; knowledge of AP style
• Ability to translate complex information into clear employee-friendly messaging
• Experience supporting executive communication and / or leadership messaging preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative mindset and a drive to innovate

Years Of Experience

• Bachelors degree in communications journalism or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Communications PR and/or Journalism
