The ideal Senior Sous Chef candidate is a proven culinary leader with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen preferably within a hotel environment. They bring a strong foundation in steakhouse or upscale restaurant operations with a deep understanding of quality consistency and execution at scale. This individual demonstrates natural leadership confidently managing and developing teams while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. A creative mindset is key with the ability to contribute to menu development and elevate the guest experience all while thriving in a fast-paced demanding setting.

What will I be doing

As Senior Sous Chef you would be responsible for leading the culinary team at SER Steak Spirits in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring consistent execution of all menu items in a high-volume upscale environment

  • Supervise train and develop culinary team members fostering a culture of accountability growth and teamwork

  • Lead by example on the line maintaining high standards of food quality presentation and sanitation

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development recipe standardization and seasonal updates

  • Visually inspect select and use quality food and beverage products including but not limited to fruits vegetables meats fish and spices

  • Monitor inventory levels ordering and product quality to control costs and minimize waste

  • Ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation regulations

  • Recruit interview and train team members
