Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer/Manager (PHP)
Location: 4 days on-site 1 day remote (some flex down the road)
Duration 1-2 months Contract-to-hire
What Were Looking For
5 10 years of software engineering experience
Experience building workflow automation system or business-process applications
Fluency with relational databases
Excellent communication skills (Direct succinct clear); able to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and also teach them how to utilize the tools
Strong full-stack development skills
Proven ability to build and ship products in fast-paced environments
High ownership mentality-you take responsibility for outcomes not just tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g. LLMs AI tools) to improve development speed and output
Strong project management skills; able to flag when we have too much on our plate vs too little on our plate
Tech Stack
Proficiency in PHP/Symfony React and MySQL
Experience with GCP (or similar cloud) Docker Linux/Nginx
Familiarity with Python or a plus (we have tooling in both)
