ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to bridge the gap between security operations platform architecture and product this role you will hold a high-impact cross-functional position collaborating directly with our Firmware Platform OS Experience (Client/App) and Cloud teams.

You will not just be pointing out vulnerabilitiesyou will be an active engineering partner. You will integrate security tooling directly into our CI/CD pipelines triage findings write proof-of-concepts and partner closely with Feature Teams and Product Owners to design implement and verify secure fixes across the entire hardware-to-cloud lifecycle.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Automate Security in CI/CD: Architect integrate and maintain automated security tooling (SAST DAST SCA Secret Scanning and SBOM generation) within modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Triage & Vulnerability Management: Ingest findings from automated tools internal testing and external disclosures. Distinguish signal from noise evaluate risk and translate raw alerts into actionable Jira tickets with clear remediation guidance.
• Cross-Team Remediation: Act as the technical security authority for Product Owners feature engineers and engineering managers to prioritize and implement secure fixes without sacrificing product velocity.
• Silicon-to-Cloud Threat Modeling: Lead threat modeling sessions and architectural security reviews for components spanning bare-metal firmware custom Android OS layers client apps and cloud backends.
• Incident Response & Research: Participate in product security incident response (PSIRT) conduct root-cause analysis and occasionally perform vulnerability research fuzzing and reverse engineering on internal targets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years of software engineering experience with a heavy focus on security systems engineering or DevSecOps.
• Demonstrated Track Record: Proven experience integrating security automation into build pipelines and successfully collaborating with software teams to patch vulnerabilities.
• Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the following: C/C Rust Go Python or C#.
• DevSecOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions CircleCI) and cloud environments (AWS or Azure) with knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-functional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills. You know how to talk about risk with Product Managers and technical trade-offs with Principal Engineers.
• Must Be Clearance Eligible

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results at pace ideally within a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience integrating Unity-based applications with external hardware or systems (drones robotics sensors wearables or other edge devices)
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming message passing or protocols commonly used for system-to-system communication (e.g. gRPC Protobuf MQTT WebSockets ROS)
• Experience working with cross-platform or cross-service integrations including consuming and designing APIs/SDKs across engineering teams
• Android development experience below the application layer
• A strong understanding of how software interacts with hardware from device drivers and firmware interfaces up through the application layer
• Professional software development lifecycle experience using tools such as version control CI/CD systems and automated testing frameworks

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
