• Design and Build Developer Platforms: Architect high-availability platforms and automated services using Python Go or Rust to maximize the velocity scaling strategies and reliability of software delivery across engineering teams.
• Optimize Core CI/CD Infrastructure: Extend and tune complex distributed multi-machine build and test frameworks (such as Jenkins or equivalent) to eliminate environment bottlenecks and accelerate development cycles.
• Advance Observability and Resilience: Standardize monitoring logging and incident management practices by building custom tools that surface metrics logs and traces to accelerate troubleshooting and root-cause resolution.
• Secure the Software Pipeline: Embed access controls patch automation and proactive vulnerability assessments directly into CI/CD systems to ensure end-to-end infrastructure security by design.

• System Automation & Architecture: Proven capability in designing scalable backend architectures and building robust developer tooling frameworks or services using modern languages like Python Go or Rust.
• Systems Mastery & Containerization: Robust Linux/Unix fundamentals combined with hands-on experience implementing containerization and orchestration infrastructure (such as Kubernetes Docker Swarm or Nomad) to debug complex distributed environments.
• Pipeline Engineering & Observability: Extensive experience managing large-scale CI/CD platforms coupled with a background in integrating proactive monitoring logging and alerting systems into engineering pipelines.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and an ownership-driven mindset with the clear communication ability needed to drive tool adoption lead incident postmortems and influence best practices across cross-functional teams.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
