Senior Software Engineer

A well-funded fast-growing AI-native software company is expanding its engineering team. The company is replacing decades-old legacy systems in a large complex highly regulated industry with a modern system of record that unifies workflows data and money movement in one platform. It has recently signed several large enterprise customers and is hiring strong backend engineers who can own features end to end and clear a high technical bar.

What youll do

• Own features end to end with high autonomy in a startup environment
  
• Build and scale backend systems that process high-volume mission-critical transactions
  
• Use AI tools to write and ship production code with human review
  
• Design robust infrastructure that handles complex multi-layered regulatory requirements
  
• Work on product or platform and infrastructure teams based on team matching
  

What were looking for

• 310 years of backend-leaning software engineering experience
  
• A track record of owning features end to end and shipping quickly
  
• Comfort building systems where reliability and correctness matter
  
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development
  

Tech stack: Python React Docker Kubernetes Google Cloud Platform

Location and eligibility: Candidates in New York or San Francisco are encouraged to come into the office 3-4 times/week.
