Senior Service Technician

As our newService Technician you will be providing on-site troubleshooting commissioning maintenance and hands-on training for Water Works ultrapure water purification equipment across customer sites in industries including pharmaceuticals military and offshore platforms. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Field Service team youll create impact by Delivering expert technical support and proactive service solutions that keep critical water purification systems running reliably for customers who depend on them most.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Perform on-site troubleshooting commissioning and preventive maintenance of ultrapure water purification equipment at customer locations
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
• Identify and promote proactive value-added service opportunities that enhance customer outcomes
• Supervise equipment installations and adjust system settings to required specifications
• Self-manage daily operations including travel logistics scheduling expense reporting and customer communications
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers while representing Water Works Grundfos company professionally

What makes you a great fit

Above all you are a self-directed hands-on technical professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills PLC experience and the confidence to independently manage customer engagements while traveling 80-100% of the time. We would also imagine that you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training with 4-6 years of electrical/mechanical equipment experience
• Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ability to read blueprints wiring schematics and plans
• Working knowledge of industrial workplace safety (mechanical electrical chemical fire and material handling) and preventive maintenance techniques
• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay area and comfortable with 80-100% travel

It is a plus if you also:

• Previous knowledge of water purification equipment and processes
• Experience working in pharmaceutical military or offshore platform environments

Youll also be available for travelling up to 220 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $ 80000.00 - $90000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidates profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off paid holidays merit increases bonuses and employee stock purchase programs etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
