Senior SAP HCM Consultant Brownfield Migration (OM PA US Payroll & Benefits)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant on behalf of our client in Houston TX. This role will support a large-scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration initiative with a focus on ensuring business continuity payroll accuracy compliance and data integrity throughout the transformation.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in SAP HCM including Organizational Management (OM) Personnel Administration (PA) US Payroll and Benefits Administration along with a proven track record supporting SAP migration and transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

SAP HCM Migration & Transformation

• Lead and support SAP HCM activities within an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration project.

• Assess existing HCM configurations and identify required updates remediations and optimizations.

• Analyze migration impacts and support the successful transition of HR and payroll processes.

Organizational Management & Personnel Administration

• Validate organizational structures positions jobs reporting relationships and personnel administration processes.

• Ensure HR master data integrity and continuity across the migration lifecycle.

• Support testing and validation of personnel actions and related business processes.

US Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Ensure seamless operation of US Payroll processes during and after migration.

• Validate payroll schemas PCRs wage types tax configurations retroactive payroll processing and payroll postings.

• Support payroll reconciliation parallel testing and payroll result validation.

• Validate benefits administration processes including health retirement insurance enrollment and life event management.

Testing Validation & Integration

• Lead unit testing integration testing payroll validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Validate integrations with Finance Time Management SAP SuccessFactors and third-party HR systems.

• Support data reconciliation and ensure accuracy of employee and payroll data.

Governance & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain migration documentation test results and validation reports.

• Support compliance with payroll regulations internal controls and audit requirements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders project teams and leadership to manage risks and ensure successful delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of SAP HCM experience.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Organizational Management (OM)

  • Personnel Administration (PA)

  • US Payroll

  • Benefits Administration

• Hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration projects.

• Deep understanding of payroll schemas PCRs wage types payroll processing and tax configurations.

• Experience performing payroll reconciliation and validation during system migrations.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP HCM for SAP S/4HANA.

• SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC) experience.

• SAP HCM Certification(s).

• Experience working in highly regulated or audit-focused environments.

• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors integrations and hybrid HR landscapes.
