Senior SAP FICA & Payments Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level Payments and Dunning SAP FICA SAP A/R functional expertise to support utility transformation objectives including Payment and Collection process and assistance programs.
• Gather analyze and translate business requirements into:
  • Functional designs
  • Business blueprints
  • Configuration documentation
  • Process maps
  • Functional specifications
  • Test scripts
• Lead design and configuration across:
  • Customer payments
  • Payment lots
  • Payment processing
  • Cash application
  • Lockbox
  • ACH/EFT
  • Credit card integrations
  • Refund processing
  • Write-offs
  • Security deposits
  • Dunning
  • Collections
  • Treasury integration
  • Financial reconciliation
• Support integration between:
  • SAP IS-U Billing
  • SAP DMSO
  • SAP FI/CO
  • SAP C4
  • Notifications systems
  • External banking/payment systems
• Oversee:
  • Collections Process
  • Payment processing
  • Payment exception handling
  • Revenue recognition
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Audit readiness
• Participate in:
  • Reviewing business process and system configurations
  • Functional Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Defect resolution
  • Deployment
  • Hypercare
• Lead financial process optimization and operational efficiency improvements
• Manage workstreams project plans and deliverables
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams
• Verify quality and completeness of project deliverables
• Collaborate with:

Required Qualifications
Mandatory:

• Previous Public Utility industry experience (required)
• 7 years of hands-on SAP FICA implementation experience Utilities Experience
• Deep expertise in:

  • Treasury/payment integration
• Strong design and configuration experience in:

• Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience

• Strong documentation communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to work directly with finance and executive business stakeholders
