Senior SAP ABAP HANA Developer

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior HANA ABAP Developer position! This is a 12 month contract-to-hire and will be hybrid in Charlotte NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Lead the design development and implementation of ABAP applications for S/4 HANA Finance Transformation initiatives focusing on enhancing existing production applications
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business partners to analyze complex business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions that address critical operational needs
• Drive 60% of your time in active coding and development work building features using SAPs programming model including ABAP Core Data Services HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• Provide technical design guidance and high-level solutions for identified gaps including effort estimation and complexity assessment for development initiatives
• Support ongoing SAP ECC HR/FI operations while advancing the technical capabilities of integrated IT systems across the organization
• Mentor and guide junior developers through design reviews code reviews and best practices dedicating 40% of your time to design work testing and team development
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive testing performance tuning and adherence to SAP HANA code performance rules and guidelines
• Coordinate with offshore and remote teams on technical specifications coding standards unit testing protocols and integration deliverables

What Youll Need to Have:

• 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience with minimum of 4 full SAP S/4 HANA implementations
• Strong proficiency in core ABAP technologies including Workbench Data Dictionary Reports SmartForms Adobe Forms ALE/IDOC Workflow Web Dynpro OO ABAP Enhancements and Performance Tuning
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP S/4 HANA technologies: HANA Studio ADT ABAP Core Data Services Database Procedures Native SQL and HANA Live models
• Required experience in SD/FI/MM modules plus hands-on experience in at least one of the following: HR-ABAP EWM or SCM
• Solid understanding of SAP Fiori integration technologies data management and B2B solutions
• Proven ability to coordinate across distributed teams and provide technical leadership on complex development initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in requirements analysis detailed design testing and implementation within systems integration projects
• Working knowledge of API technologies (REST SOAP OData) and familiarity with UI5/HTML/JAVA/PI is preferred

Pay Range: $70-75/hr
