Position Summary:
GLIDE is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer & Business Systems Lead (internally known as Senior Salesforce Workflow Automation Developer) who serves as the technical and business-facing leader of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role will help GLIDE reimagine how Salesforce supports programs services reporting and operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on Salesforce development and workflow automation skills with business process analysis stakeholder engagement and project leadership. This person will work closely with program and administrative teams to understand how work gets done today identify opportunities for improvement and translate those needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

This is a hands-on role but success requires more than coding. The Senior Salesforce Developer & Business Systems Lead will serve as a trusted Salesforce resource across GLIDE helping teams understand what is possible guiding enterprise-wide system changes and bringing staff along as we evolve how Salesforce is used across the organization.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both building Salesforce solutions and working directly with people to improve the way an organization operates

This is an onsite position based in San Francisco and requires 45 days onsite each week. This is not a remote position.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the portfolio manager and lead administrator of GLIDEs Salesforce Ecosystem (platform workflows integrations data governance); drive system security monitoring performance scalability and continuous improvement; lead GLIDEs Salesforce team.
  • Lead the design configuration and implementation of Salesforce solutions including workflow analysis automation improvements and optimization; serve as project manager for approved initiatives.
  • Build maintain and continuously improve workflow automation efficiency andinteroperability across programs and reporting; serve as project manager for upgrades and new workflow implementations.
  • Translate manual and/or low-tech processes into scalable efficiently automated solutions; evaluate and refactor legacy configurations and automations. Perform data mapping transformation and migration.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems. Build and manage API integrations using REST services webhooks and middleware tools; ensure secure reliable integrations with proper authentication and error handling.
  • Manage data synchronization strategies and system-of-record definitions; develop and maintainscalable data models; develop and enforce data governance.
  • Write clean maintainable code and proper workflow/project documentation. Customize Salesforce applications and implement complex workflows. Develop/maintainApex test classes for system reliability.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues; identifyand reduce technical debt through continuous improvement.
  • Adviseleadershipusing written executive-ready one-pagers and proposals;providetechnical guidance to staff and vendors; manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor projects.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and integration best practices.
  • Support occasional evening or weekend work for deployments or critical issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 4 years of Salesforce experience with workflow automation and integrations.
  • Expert workflow analysis and salesforce automation skills.
  • Excellent projectmanager&technologybuilder withstrongproblem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentstrategically plan and implementprojectson-time and on-budget;excellent project management stakeholder engagementanddocumentation.
  • Strong communication(written and oral) and interpersonalskills; staffmentor.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed;ability to workbothindependently and collaboratively applying sound analytical judgment in all contexts.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and Apex development; experience building API integrations (REST).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and system architecture commitment to data governanceKPI reportingsystems documentation and version control.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environments.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide software system upgrades.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC)/Agentforceand/or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript middlewaretools (MuleSoftWorkato Zapier) and reporting tools (Power BI Tableau).
  • Salesforce certifications stronglypreferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on a computer and see details of objects atcloserange.
  • Ability to hear within normalrange and communicate effectively (in person telephone orZoom).
  • Finger dexterity and the ability to use all standard office equipment.
  • Sit or stand comfortably;and the ability to navigate throughout office spaces (via elevator or stairs).
$110000 - $120000 a year
This is a full-time (40 hour/week) Exempt position. This role is onsite 4-5 days/week. Candidates should be local to the San Francisco Bay Area or have a confirmed plan to relocate before their start date.
Work Environment
GLIDEs buildings are located in the Tenderloin maintains an open door policy to the community and its clients who frequently enter and leave the building.
