Senior Retail Merchandiser Lubbock, TX

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40000 items (cosmetics toys school supplies hosiery hair accessories OTC HBA and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas New Jersey and Nevada.
We are looking for a part-time to full time representative to service retail stores such as but not limited to Albertsons and Kroger in various locations within the West Central and East Coast regions of the country.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Senior Field Merchandiseris an extension of the District Manager providing oversight and supporttothe field team in their district thatoversees merchandising execution across multiple retail locations ensuring products are stocked displayed andmaintainedto company standards. This roleserves as a resource for interviewinghiringand trainingnew field merchandiserswhile auditing and coaching existingfield merchandisers to ensure company standards are met by the team. Additionally this roleprovides advanced merchandising supportandleadscomplexresetswhen necessary.

LOCATIONS & SCHEDULE

Territories - Lubbock TX

HoursFull Time - 40 hours weekly

Occasionaltraveltoadditionalterritories up to 100radiuswhencoverageis needed.

Store service hours are between 6 AM 5 PM with 8 PM as the drop-dead time with authorization.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

Pay Rate 17.00

Mileage/Tollsreimbursement.

Meal reimbursement.(Up to managers discretion)

Paid drive timeincluded with hours worked.

This position islikely to transition to full-timeafter60 daysif consistent 30 hours are met weekly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays fixtures and sections according to provided planograms and instructions.

• Ensure all resets are completed according to L&Rs standards and project timelines.

• Work with District Manager tointerview and hire field merchandisers as needed

• Work withDistrict Manager toprovide in-store training for new hires and ongoing training with current workforce as neededbyapplyingcurrent knowledge of service tools processes and KPIs.

• Provide dependable support as the districts go-to resource for store coverage executive walks and remodels.

• Serviceopenstore routes according to the assigned call cycle frequencies working closely with the L&R District Manager todrive executionexcellence for our Customers Customers.

• Place orders for required inventory according to store ordering guidelinesutilizinga company-suppliedtablet may require Auto Ordering where applicable and performing inventory or cycle counts when necessary.

• Developstrong reputable relationships throughconsistent professional communication with Store Management and Store Associates.

• Verify Merchandise shipments uponreceiptanditems arechecked in by authorized store personnel.

• Stock shelves with delivered merchandise work backstock when necessaryclean and organize display cases and shelves as needed.

• Conduct store surveys and audits per request including but not limited to taking photographs of assigned departments to solve store issues
  
  
  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Must have 2-3 years experiencein retail merchandising resets or a related field preferred.

• Extensive experience with planograms resets knowledge and execution

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills andprofessionaldemeanor.

• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
