Senior Resident Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Tallahassee or Chipley FL.

This role will be responsible for working on FDOT Transportation projecs such as Roads and Bridges.

• Plans organizes and directs the administration and coordination of constructionobservation and reporting activities.

• Provides financial management of construction office operations monitoring costs andexpenses approving and dispersing funds and coordinating accounting and costallocation.

• Leads subordinate internal staff involved in the observation testing and sampling ofconstruction materials observation of construction work and documentation of planrevisions and work progress.

• Is responsible for reporting cost and quality control activities.

• Meets and coordinates ongoing construction monitoring with client program manager.

• Prepares and coordinates contract changes and supplemental agreements with client.

• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

• Must have experience working on FDOT projects.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Fifteen years of experience withBachelors degree combining engineering design and construction observationadministration and including management and supervision of field and office personnel.

• PE certification is required.

Expected compensation range is between $160000 to $195000 annually depending on skills experience and geographical location.
