Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Senior Construction Manager of Scheduling and Estimating and provide schedule-related reports for upper management to meet key performance milestones.

• Assistin supervising Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and interface with OARs Senior Project Managers and other site staff during CPM schedule reviews.

• Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings including architectural structural mechanical electrical plumbing civil and related disciplines to develop a clear understanding of work scope.

• Review contractorP6initialbaseline construction schedulesidentifymissing scope logic or milestones analyze the critical path review cost loading and provide written technical schedule review comments using LAUSD structured templates.

• Review contractor P6 monthly schedule updates and provide written comments documenting milestone slippage critical path activity slippage and overall schedule analysis using LAUSD structured templates.

• Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis using Windows Analysis and incorporate contemporaneous and/or forensic schedule parameters in detailed written analyses.

• Read drawings and contract terms todeterminewhether work is in or out of scope and whether compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit.

• Communicate effectively with project teams regarding schedule and progress-related issues or concerns during regular schedule meetings.

• Developmaintain and update program schedulesidentifyingrelationships logic milestones and constraints for construction projects.

• Update program and master schedules on a regular basis and ensure proper use of program-level standard codes layouts and reports tomaintaindata integrity.

• Prepare reports as needed and directed by senior management visit construction sites attend meetings as needed and check contractor monthly schedule progress.

Qualifications:

• Minimum ten (10) years of full-time paid professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner or general contractor preferably on educationalfacilityor public works projects.

• Proficiencyin the latest version of Primavera P6 specifically P6 v19 and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university in engineering architecture construction management ora relatedfield.

• Alternatively a bachelors degree from a recognized college or university in any course of study plus anadditionalfour (4) years of experience in the duties above to compensate for the required education.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with superior organizational and planning skills.

• Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and department staff.

• Understanding ofthe theories principles and practices of cost engineering scheduling and schedule forensics.

Compensation:

Salary range: $140000 to $160000/yearly (dependent on years of experience competency travel requirements)
