Senior Region Build Technical Program Manager, Global Product Expansion Region Build

We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join AWS to manage new region builds across the this role your primary responsibility will be supporting AWS global expansion as a technical program manager supporting new AWS region builds.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with Service Teams Infrastructure and Business Development to design and deliver new AWS regions. You will collaborate with Product Teams to design solutions that make efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all stakeholders to develop schedules that ensure timely launch of new regions. You will assess risks anticipate issues overcome technical obstacles make difficult trade-off decisions and balance business needs and technical constraints.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background be detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities. You will have a deep understanding of distributed system design and delivery. You will successfully represent program status senior leadership. Your program management expertise and operational excellence will influence the teams decisions and drive secure and scalable solutions. You should be passionate about delivering great customer experiences and researching and developing new region build methodologies.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
