Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Specialist to lead and manage complex commercial refrigeration projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strong technical expertise project management capabilities and the ability to support field operations in real time. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment provide exceptional operational support and ensure all work orders are completed safely efficiently on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial refrigeration work orders including reactive maintenance planned maintenance and capital improvement projects from inception through closeout.
Monitor project timelines budgets risks and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.
Communicate project updates and work order progress to internal teams and stakeholders through CMMS platforms and reporting tools.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians throughout the day via phone and email.
Resolve high-priority escalations quickly and coordinate with internal teams contractors manufacturers and vendors to eliminate delays.
Prepare project proposals cost plans scopes of work bid documents and contract-related documentation.

Generate weekly reporting related to asset health operational performance and ongoing refrigeration projects.
Build strong working relationships with service partners and ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide operational feedback to leadership.
Participate in after-hours weekend holiday and emergency support as needed.
Travel to project sites as required to assess issues support operations and coordinate solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial refrigeration projects within facilities maintenance property management or customer-focused service environments.
Strong experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems is required.
EPA Certification required.
Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills preferred.
Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
