As a collaborative and innovative engineer on our team you will architect implement and drive a comprehensive automated quality engineering strategy across the Apple Maps app performance umbrella spanning its foundational components to its entire user experience. This includes designing building and scaling robust automation frameworks and systems alongside leveraging robust performance metrics establishing observability standards and advanced QE practices to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality reliable and performant products across its multiple platforms including iOS and macOS.
Implement and monitor performance metrics health indicators and engineering automated testing into CI/CD pipelines; establish quality and evolve scalable test automation advanced QE practices: AI-assisted test generation log analysis and anomaly end-to-end observability perfomance standards (metrics tracing logging validation).nLead automated test design and comprehensive performance test strategies and and integrate new testing tools and and enforce quality gates and release root cause analysis and drive preventative and maintain test data management implement and maintain automated reporting for test results and quality manual tests and experiments while maintaining test devices
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.n6 years in Quality Engineering specializing in large-scale test automation and advanced QE of testing ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and thrive in fast-paced deadline-driven communicate intricate technical analysis and actionable recommendations to diverse in at least one or more languages used for automation such as Python Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Knowledge of power management and battery-life with automated testing for native iOS/macOS applications utilizing the XCUITest framework.
