Job Title: Senior Python Engineer
Location: Plano TX (100% onsite)
USC/GC/GC EAD Only- W2 Requirement
Note: No third party/C2C or 1099
- 6 years of professional software/backend engineering experience or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong AWS experience with several of the following:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- ECS/Fargate
- EKS/Kubernetes
- S3
- EventBridge
- SQS/SNS
- RDS/Aurora
- DynamoDB
- ElastiCache/Redis
- Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of AWS IAM KMS Secrets Manager VPC and cloud security.
- Experience with application monitoring logging alerting and observability.
- Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
- Strong understanding of Git code reviews Agile development and production support.
- Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
