A Senior Project Manager is required to lead interior design and architectural projects for a San Francisco design practice managing multiple assignments from initiation through construction completion.
This Senior Project Manager role is suited to someone with strong commercial awareness client-facing project leadership experience and a detailed understanding of interior design or architectural project delivery. You will oversee schedule budget scope documentation consultants contractors and internal teams while helping maintain a collaborative design-focused project environment.

Role:
- Manage multiple projects of varying size from initiation through construction completion
- Prepare scopes of work fee proposals additional service requests project schedules and subconsultant agreements
- Review client contracts agreements terms and conditions
- Prepare RFPs bid documents and bid-leveling information for subconsultants contractors and furniture dealers
- Lead weekly team meetings develop work plans and assign and monitor project tasks
- Act as a daily point of contact for clients contractors subconsultants and regulatory agencies
- Support project documentation coordination QA/QC oversight cost estimate review and design budget management
- Participate in project site visits and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience managing interior design and/or architectural projects
- Bachelors degree or higher in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of all phases of interior design or architectural project delivery
- Experience with programming space planning and FF&E
- Working knowledge of building codes fire codes and accessibility requirements for interior environments
- Strong understanding of construction documents and project delivery procedures
- Excellent verbal written client-facing and team leadership skills
- Experience managing project profitability schedules budgets teams and client relationships
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Desirable Experience:
- Interior Design Certification and/or Architectural Licensure
- LEED and/or WELL Accreditation or hands-on sustainable design project experience
- Autodesk Revit skills
- Adobe Creative Suite skills including Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience working in a Citrix environment
- Experience using Mural collaboration platform
- Office 365 Project Excel Word and PowerPoint skills
