Position Summary:
- The Senior Project Manager will lead new and ongoing aerospace programs driving cross-functional execution from planning through delivery. This role is responsible for aligning engineering manufacturing quality and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule within scope and with appropriate operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional aerospace projects and manage scope schedule risk action items and stakeholder communication; drive project governance review cadence and closure of key deliverables;
- coordinate with engineering operations manufacturing and quality teams to support new work introduction and execution readiness; identify project risks resource gaps and execution blockers and lead mitigation planning;
- prepare status updates reporting and decision-support materials for leadership and stakeholders;
- support prioritization of activities in a growing operational environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Project Management or a related discipline; significant experience in project or program management within aerospace manufacturing industrial or other complex technical environments;
- proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in dynamic settings;
- strong communication organizational and stakeholder management skills;
- understanding of engineering-to-manufacturing workflows and regulated operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace industry experience; PMP or equivalent project management certification; experience supporting customer-facing programs production ramp-up or operational transformation initiatives.
Work Arrangement / Engagement Notes:
- On-site presence is preferred with potential flexibility for a hybrid arrangement based on candidate profile travel availability and business need.
