Senior Project Manager (Oracle Federal Financials)

Location: Washington DC Metro Area (Hybrid) Experience Level: 10 Years

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Oracle Federal Financials to support and deliver complex financial system initiatives for federal clients. The ideal candidate brings a balanced combination of project management expertise and functional knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials with experience supporting agencies such as the Department of Commerce highly preferred. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams provide exemplary customer service ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management in support of Oracle Federal Financials implementations upgrades and enhancements.
• Serve as a trusted knowledgeable point of contact to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
• Develop and manage project plans schedules budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with federal stakeholders to define requirements priorities and success metrics.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams functional users and executive leadership.
• Manage project scope identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and deliver status reports briefings and documentation to stakeholders.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years of project management experience including leading enterprise system implementations.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Federal Financials (e.g. GL AP AR Budget Execution Treasury integration).
• Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies; Department of Commerce experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal financial processes and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or R12 implementations in federal environments.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience working in a consulting or government contracting environment.

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (active clearance preferred).
