Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager youll assume full responsibility for the planning execution financial performance and successful completion of multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead commercial and federal government construction projects from award through final completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners architects engineers government representatives and project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules budgets manpower plans and procurement strategies.
• Direct project teams including Project Engineers Assistant Project Managers Superintendents and field personnel.
• Oversee subcontractor selection contract administration and project procurement activities.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) submittals change orders and project documentation.
• Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain effective communication among all project participants.
• Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements quality standards and safety regulations.
• Review project financial performance forecasting cost controls and monthly reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff while promoting operational excellence across the organization.

Were seeking an experienced construction professional with a proven record of successfully managing technically complex projects.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Approximately 15 years of project management experience within commercial and government construction.
• Demonstrated experience leading federal construction projects for agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs Department of Defense GSA USACE or other government entities.
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of federal contracting procedures specifications and compliance requirements.
• Extensive experience managing project schedules budgets subcontractors and client relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings specifications and contract documents.
• Strong knowledge of project management software scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional leadership communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
