About the Role
Bohlers Fairfield CT office is seeking a Senior Project Engineer whos ready to take the next step in technical and professional growth. Youll lead aspects of site design collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project delivery across diverse commercial residential and industrial projects in Southern Connecticut. What Youll Do
- Design and coordinate site layouts grading drainage and utility systems for complex projects.
- Analyze zoning regulations site conditions and environmental constraints to guide design decisions.
- Perform stormwater management and hydrology calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and contractors to deliver cohesive design packages.
- Review technical reports construction documents and cost estimates.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in technical training and quality review.
- Support client communication permitting efforts and coordination with review agencies.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in civil/site design grading drainage and permitting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management design software.
- Strong understanding of local zoning site development processes and regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving collaboration and communication skills.
- PE license preferred; EIT required or in progress.
