This position will be responsible for designing power generation and delivery systems as well as supporting power generation and energy storage development projects transmission and distribution projects and various major utility Responsibilities:Support specific projects within area of capability and perform engineering studies analysis and investigations under specific level of supervision in order to recommend corrective collect collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools methods and formats in order to support the departments decision-making projects involving power generation and delivery substation underground and overhead transmission distribution storage and/or renewable systemsDevelop and execute procedures instructions and requests plan and organize resources and make appropriate arrangements to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in line with relevant policies and and challenge existing procedures and highlight areas for improvement in order to ensure they are relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support the team approach and to obtain and share specific tasks of varying complexity in order to support colleagues in the design of technical upon technical/professional skills within own area of specialism or of other processes in order to continually grow your personal contribution to the and maintain systems designs specifications standards models and procedures in order to support design solutions and enhance safety efficiency and operability and support local decision up to date with market/regulatory developments within own profession/discipline in order to ensure the optimization of best existing ways of working and continuously seek ways to do things better in order to drive greater efficiencies within assigned and implement procedural best practice in order to ensure all working practice (and where relevant health and safety standards) are compliant with policies and regulatory and Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited (Minimum required): 10 years of experience developing and/or designing power generation delivery transmission distribution motor control centers variable frequency drives protective relays standby power generation and/or PLC PE preferredConsultingdeveloper or utility background level of technical performance with strong work to work productively and cooperatively with team members and verbal and written communication knowledge of Microsoft knowledge of AutoCAD and Easy Power (or other electrical system analysis software) salary range for this role is $100000 - $130000 employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristics protected by local state or federal law.
