Senior Programs Recruiter

The Senior Services Recruiteris responsible forthe daily coordination and recruitmentof seniors for both the Foster Grandparent Program and the Senior CompanionProgram. The Senior Services Recruiterwill act as an assisting agent forallprograms. The Recruitermayserve as a signing and approving agent that includes but is not limited to timesheets reports and memorandumof understanding. The Senior Services Recruiter will abide by the Methodist Childrens Home Societys established procedures for internal review and its standard policies and procedures.

• Assistin coordination and administration of Senior Services Programs.

• Assistinretentionneeds of Senior Services Programs.

• Coordinate with internal and external programs and departments to provide shared recruitment and training of allvolunteersinappropriate assignmentsand all events includingin-servicesnewvolunteer orientationandadvisoryboard.

• Implement partnering agreements whilemaintainingIn-Service directory.

• Develop coordinateanddeliver comprehensiveactivities andtrainingfor volunteers.

• Develop andmaintaindata processes on recruitment activities and In-Services.

• Conduct program interviews and surveys for data and grant needs.

• Develop presentations upon request for community individuals organizations and partners to raise awareness and support.

Education and Experiences

• Bachelors degreepreferred;Associatesdegree or high-school diploma with experience will be considered.

• Training and/or experience in working with those over 55 years of age and volunteers.
