The Opportunity:

  • Lead the delivery of a multi-team Agile program developing mission-critical GEOINT capabilities for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
  • Serve as the primary interface with Government program leadership with full responsibility for cost schedule and performance.
  • Direct a cross-functional workforce of engineers developers and delivery professionals in aSAFe-based environment.
  • Shape program strategy growth and customer relationships on a high-visibility national security program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall program execution including cost schedule technical performance and contract deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government Program Manager Contracting Officers Representative and mission stakeholders.
  • Lead staffing hiring and subcontractor management to maintain a fully resourced program.
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting forecasting burn-rate analysis and invoice review for a Time & Materials contract environment.
  • Direct Agile delivery cadence and ensure program commitments are met across Program Increments.
  • Identify manage and mitigate program risks and issues; escalate with recommended courses of action.
  • Drive quality of contract deliverables monthly status reporting and program reviews.
  • Identify and support on-contract growth and new business opportunities.


Qualifications:
Required:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
  • 8 years of program or project management experience on Government IT programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing software development programs using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing program financials in a Time & Materials or similar contract environment.
  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Government stakeholders.


Desired:

  • PMPPgMP or equivalent program management certification.
  • SAFecertification (SAFeAgilist RTE or LPM).
  • Prior experience supporting NGA or the Intelligence Community.
