Senior Program Manager Dealer and Channel Operations IT PMO

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Global Technical Center in Warren (MI) or Austin Innovation Center in Austin (TX) three times per week at minimum. This position can be located at either of these 2 locations.

The Role

Our Dealer and Channel Operations Organization (IT PMO) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs that directly impact vehicle quality and launch readiness. This position requires a strong background in software delivery enterprise-scale execution and the ability to bring clarity and alignment across engineering product design and quality teams. Youll operate at the center of GMs transformation working closely with executive stakeholders to drive accountability delivery excellence and innovation.

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact programs across the Dealer and Channel Operations Organization.

• Define scope timelines and resource plans aligned with business or technology goals.

• Identify risks and interdependencies and lead mitigation strategies.

• Communicate program status and insights to executive leadership using storytelling and metrics.

• Facilitate inclusive action-oriented meetings with clear documentation and follow-through.

• Influence cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.

• Lead change management efforts and foster adaptability across teams.

• Apply Agile Waterfall and hybrid methodologies where appropriate.

• Champion GMs core values while promoting individuality and diversity.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• 5 years of software project/program management experience.

• Proven success leading cross-functional programs with technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong command of Agile Waterfall and hybrid delivery models.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive results.

• Experience navigating ambiguity and leading through change.

• Comfortable working across time zones and diverse teams.

What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• PMP Certification.

• Experience with Jira Confluence Slack or similar tools.

• Familiarity with GMs Dealer and Channel Operations systems.
