Job Title: Senior Production Planner

Job Location: Melville NY (100% onsite)

Salary: $95000-$125000/yr

• Plan and determine the most efficient method of achieving program objectives within the framework of technical capabilities.
• Create manufacturing order schedule and purchase requisitions for assigned projects using MRP.
• Track and monitor purchased material for assigned projects.
• Identify critical parts and critical path assemblies to the scheduled delivery dates.
• Execute plan and control programs through manufacturing and test to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers.
• Perform complex expediting and record keeping functions with current information on the location and progress of manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Release kits to production floor with proper travelers operation sheets and documentation.
• Host meetings on status of programs regarding schedule with PM Production Test and Quality.
• Report and resolve any problems or difficulties impacting the on-time delivery of jobs.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory in process production reports and status and location of materials.
• Move or transport material from one department to another.

• 6 years experience in Planning or Production Control in an electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing facility required.
• Strong knowledge of work schedules bill of material and receiving reports
• Costpoint ERP systems Microsoft Office proficiency
