Senior Product Manager Product Strategy

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager Product Strategy to lead the development and lifecycle of assigned product categories. This role will translate market insights and customer needs into clear product strategies that drive growth profitability and long term market success.

The Senior Product Manager will own product direction from concept through launch including market analysis product strategy business cases roadmap development positioning and go to market planning. This individual will work closely with Sales Marketing Sourcing Operations and Manufacturing to ensure new products are commercially strong operationally feasible and successfully brought to market.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with physical products and can balance high level strategic thinking with hands on execution. Experience within cabinetry kitchen and bath interiors building materials or a related industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead market analysis to identify product gaps industry trends customer needs and growth opportunities

Develop product strategies and business cases based on market demand pricing profitability and manufacturability

Own and maintain the product roadmap based on company priorities and market opportunities

Lead assigned product categories throughout the complete product lifecycle

Drive cross functional alignment to keep product development and launches on schedule

Partner with Sales and Marketing on product positioning go to market strategy and customer adoption

Develop clear product development and launch plans

Monitor product performance and lifecycle health after launch

Adjust product strategies based on performance customer feedback and market developments

Collaborate with Sourcing Operations and Manufacturing to evaluate product feasibility and execution

Balance customer and market needs with operational capabilities and business objectives

Communicate product strategy priorities and progress clearly across teams and leadership

Qualifications:

8 years of experience in product management product development or product marketing within a manufacturing or physical product environment required

Proven experience leading physical product initiatives from concept through launch

Strong experience with market research product prioritization and roadmap management

Experience developing product strategies and business cases

Strong understanding of product positioning and go to market execution

Experience partnering closely with Sales and Marketing teams

Experience working with Sourcing Manufacturing and Operations throughout the product lifecycle

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on ownership and execution

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead cross functional initiatives in a fast paced environment

Experience in cabinetry kitchen and bath interiors building materials or an adjacent industry is strongly preferred

Location: Newark NJ Onsite

Type: Full time

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM; Friday 8 AM to 1 PM

Salary: $170000/year
