Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager Cloud & Infrastructure Security owns the product strategy for Equinixs cloud and container security capabilities. The role spans three product areas: cloud security posture and governance runtime and container protection and infrastructure and IaC security. The PM partners closely with cloud platform engineers developers and security operations ensuring controls are effective and practical to adopt at scale.

Responsibilities

Vision & Roadmap: Own the roadmap across cloud posture management runtime andcontainer security and infrastructure securitycontrols. Keep priorities tied to business risk andengineering capacity.
Product Ownership: Maintain a clearactionable backlog for each product area.
Translate security requirements into workengineering teams can execute and trackoutcomes against defined goals.
Engineering Partnership: Work with platformand infrastructure leads to embed security intodeveloper workflows pipelinesinfrastructure-as-code and container delivery without unnecessary friction.
Stakeholder Management: Represent cloudsecurity priorities across InfoSec platformengineering and business planning. Serve as theprimary point of contact for questions andinvestment decisions in this space.
Emerging Capabilities: Lead early-stage work onnew capabilities including container imageintegrity and admission control. Definerequirements set success criteria and managethe path from proof-of-concept to production.

Communicates Across Audiences: Explainstechnical topics plainly to non-technicalstakeholders and translates business risk intorequirements engineers can act on.

Knowledge and Experience
Experience: 510 years in technical productmanagement with direct experience owningsecurity products in cloud or infrastructureenvironments.
Cloud & Container Security: Solidunderstanding of cloud security posture
management cloud configuration policyenforcement container and Kubernetessecurity IaC scanning and runtime workloadprotection.
Developer Workflows: Understands howsecurity fits into CI/CD pipelines containerregistries and infrastructure-as-code work with engineering teams to integratecontrols without disrupting how they build.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Track record ofaligning engineering security operations andbusiness stakeholders on a shared roadmap in alarge complex organization.

Skills and Attributes
Technical Depth: Comfortable going deep onhow a capability works from misconfigurationdetection to container admission control andtranslating that understanding into productdecisions.
Clear Communication: Writes and speaksplainly. Can make a complex security conceptunderstandable to a business leader withoutlosing the substance.
Ownership Mindset: Takes accountability foroutcomes. Follows through on commitmentsand flags risks early.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136000 - 204000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role level and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus equity or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus and equity may be offered depending on the position.
