Senior Product Manager AI Data Infrastructure

We are seeking aPrincipal Product Managerto lead the definition and evolution of NetAppsAI Data Infrastructure (AIDI)portfolio. This role owns abroad endtoend AI infrastructure strategy spanningONTAPbased data services delivered across multiple hardware platforms integrated systems reference architectures and fullstack AI solutions.

This PM operates at the center of NetApps most strategic AI initiativesworking closely witharchitecture engineering and strategic technology partnersto define scalable repeatable and monetizable AI data platforms. The role focuses onenabling ONTAP and complementary data services across diverse system architectures includinghighperformance file and block platforms scaleout systems and object storage as well asvalidated reference architectures.

The role supports bothNeocloud providersandStrategic Enterprise customers shaping solutions that enabletraining finetuning inference and emerging AI workloads acrosshybrid and onpremenvironments.

AI Data Infrastructure Strategy & Vision

Define and own theholistic AIDI product strategy centered onONTAPbased data services delivered across multiple hardware platforms integrated systems reference designs and full solution architectures.

Develop aphased AIDI roadmap clearly articulating MVP capabilities platform extensions and longterm architectural evolution.

Identify and prioritizeAI workload use cases(training finetuning inference multitenant AI platforms) and map them tostorage platforms data services and deployment models.

Reference Architectures & Partner Ecosystem

Leadcodevelopment and integration efforts with strategic technology partners spanning compute accelerator networking and platform ecosystems.

Define productize and maintainvalidated reference architectures and certified AI designs(e.g. clustered AI platforms modular AI stacks) ensuring they are repeatable supportable and fieldready.

Act as the product interface betweenNetApp storage platforms (ONTAPbased systems ESeries StorageGRID)and external partner ecosystems.

Platform & Ecosystem Definition

Driveplatform and system architecture decisions including storage platforms interconnects and systemlevel tradeoffs in close partnership with architecture and engineering.

Defineendtoend AI infrastructure solutions combining multiple storage platforms data services lifecycle management and operational integrationnot just standalone components.

Evaluate and definefulfillment and delivery models including:

Meetinthechannel offerings

OEM and ODMbased solutions

Integrated and validated system offerings

Customer Market & Business Requirements

Gather and synthesize requirements fromNeocloud providersandlarge enterprise customers addressing performance scale multitenancy and operational simplicity.

Translate customer needs intoclear product requirements differentiated value propositions and business cases.

Partner with GTM sales and field teams to ensure offerings areconsumable supportable and aligned with realworld deployment models.

Monetization & Business Models

Definemonetization strategiesfor AIDI offerings including software licensing subscriptions consumptionbased models and bundled platform offerings.

Partner with finance and GTM teams to assessrevenue impact pricing margin and cost structureacross solution types.

CrossFunctional Leadership

Serve as thesingle point of accountabilityacross architecture engineering sales marketing alliances and operations for AIDI.

Communicate strategy architectural tradeoffs and roadmap clearly toexecutive leadership and field organizations.

Influencelongterm platform decisionsthat impact multiple product lines and business units.

15 years of product management experience withenterprise infrastructure storage platforms or cloudadjacent systems.

Strong understanding ofonprem and/or cloud infrastructureand modern data center architectures.

Proven experience partnering witharchitecture and engineering teamsto translate technical concepts into marketready products.

Experience definingproduct roadmaps phased releases and gotomarket strategies.

Preferred

Experience working withhyperscalers Neocloud providers or large enterprise customers.

Familiarity withOEM/ODM ecosystems multivendor platforms and channelbased delivery models.

Background in definingmonetization and licensing modelsfor software platforms or integrated solutions.
