Senior Product Designer (UIUX), AIML Tools

Play a key role in shaping the tools that power AI development. Were looking for a senior designer who can take on complex ambiguous problems and turn them into beautiful elegant and highly usable is a highly visible role working across multiple teams within the Apples AI/ML organization for multiple products. Beyond craft youll help drive alignment influence product direction and bring clarity to complex problem spaces.

In this role you will design intuitive and scalable experiences for AI training and evaluation tools spanning workflows such as data annotation evaluation and visualization. Youll partner closely with engineers users and product stakeholders to shape product direction from early concepts through also play a key role in simplifying complex systems rapidly prototyping ideas and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.

Design end-to-end experiences for AI/ML tools including data collection annotation and visualization workflowsnLead design efforts from concept through execution iteration and launchnTranslate ambiguous requirements into clear product direction and thoughtful design solutionsnCollaborate closely with engineering and users to shape and refine product strategynAble to rapidly explore ideas and validate design approachesnBring clarity to complex systems through strong interaction and visual designnDrive alignment across teams and stakeholders to move projects forwardnContribute to and evolve design systems where applicable

Strong visual and interaction design skills with high attention to detailnProven experience designing complex systems tools or workflowsnExperience shipping high-quality customer-facing productsnAbility to work through ambiguity and define clear solutionsnStrong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teamsnProficiency with Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud or other equivalent toolsnBachelors degree in Design HCI or a related field (or equivalent experience)nMust have portfolio demonstrating shipped work and design process

Experience designing data-heavy interfaces or visualization toolsnBackground working on AI/ML data platforms or developer toolsnStrong systems thinking and ability to design scalable frameworksnExperience contributing to or building design systemsnAbility to rapidly iterate and prototype to explore multiple directionsnProactive mindset with the ability to drive alignment and influence product direction
