Senior Procurement Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Associate to join our growing this role you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all projects ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts to ensure the best value for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the procurement process for all projects including sourcing bidding negotiating and contracting for materials and services

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of goods and services

- Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain the best value for the company

- Monitor and track procurement activities ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

- Collaborate with project managers to identify project needs and develop procurement plans

- Conduct market research to identify new vendors and products that align with company goals and objectives

- Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements

- Mentor and train junior procurement staff providing guidance and support as needed

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in the engineering or construction industry

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
