Senior Process Engineer Mechanical (Wastewater)

This role focuses on water/wastewater treatment process and mechanical design.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with 10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering consulting who can lead treatment-facility design from concept through bid-ready documents and serve as a technical SME and Design Phase Manager.

• Lead water/wastewater process evaluation selection modeling and design
• Perform and oversee hydraulic analysis and equipment selection
• Lead treatment-facility design from concept through bid-ready construction documents
• Serve as Design Phase Manager and technical SME
• Lead QA/QC and mentor engineering staff
• Coordinate civil structural mechanical electrical and I&C disciplines
• Coordinate with clients vendors regulators and internal teams
• Support construction and resolve design-related technical issues
• Manage project schedules budgets and deliverables

• Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental Chemical Mechanical Biosystems/Agricultural or related Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10 years of water/wastewater design experience with an engineering consulting firm
• Strong treatment-process and mechanical design experience
• Experience with hydraulics equipment layouts calculations specifications and construction documents
• Experience with pumps/pump stations chemical storage and feed systems blowers mechanical equipment piping valves/fittings and P&IDs
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams
• Experience coordinating with clients vendors regulators and internal teams
• Experience managing schedules budgets 3D models and drawings

• Masters degree
• Lift-station and booster-pump-station design experience
• Professional/industry association involvement
• Strong multidisciplinary project leadership experience
