Primary Responsibilities

• Apply analytical methods finite element models simulations and other engineering tools to develop models perform structural and dynamic analyses conduct calculations reduce test data and correlate results.
• Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance manufacturability and schedule.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited 17 years of relevant industry experience with a bachelors degree 15 years with a masters degree or 13 years with a doctorate experience with any of the commercial finite element analysis tools (e.g. FEMAP/NX NASTRAN PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN ANSYS Abaqus etc.).Strong technical writing presentation and cross-functional collaboration ability to thrive in a collaborative multi-disciplinary engineering of working as part of a larger analysis team or working as the sole analyst on a project.U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearanceor eligibility to obtain and maintain in or willingness to relocate to the Huntsville Alabama area.
