As a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within theCybersecurity Technology and Controls you provide deep cybersecurity expertise and work across teams to identify create and communicate risk mitigation options and solutions. You leverage your cross-domain expertise to bring together talent that consistently delivers solutions processes and reusable proof-of-concept models while staying at the forefront of cybersecurity best practices policy and technology advances.
Job responsibilities
- Advise and lead the cybersecurity strategy and development of multiple products applications and technologies across a portfolio
- Translate highly complex technical issues trends and approaches to leadership to drive innovation and enable strategic well-informed target-state architecture decisions.
- Leads reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate cybersecurity architecture analysis portfolio-level option evaluation and delivery of strategic solutions with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
- Provide deep data engineering expertise and work across agile teams to enhance build and deliver data collection storage access and analytics solutions in a secure stable and scalable way
- Challenge the status quo to drive business impact leading the strategic development of new and existing data pipelines and data architectures aligned to industry trends and best practices
- Drive adoption and implementation of new cybersecurity technical methods aligned to modern product development methodologies
- Create durable reusable cybersecurity frameworks that improve delivery velocity and output quality across teams and functions.
- Establishes portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted workflows used in cybersecurity architecture and governance ensuring traceability/auditability and alignment to security and resiliency expectations.
- Develop architectures with applicability across businesses and functions
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience
- Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment across cybersecurity architecture workflows including validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations and AI-enabled architecture patterns before adoption escalating uncertainty and ensuring outcomes align to security resiliency and auditability expectations.
- Practical experience delivering cybersecurity architecture that can be applied and reused across businesses functions and systems
- Fluency in one or more programming languages or applications
- Demonstrated experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern cybersecurity architecture
- Experience applying new methods and expertise to solve new and complex cybersecurity problems across disciplines
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Practical cloud-native experience
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend solutions to achieve future-state cybersecurity architecture
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
