Job Summary
- Administer Power BI Service Power BI Premium Microsoft Fabric capacities and on-premises gateways.
- Manage workspaces datasets dataflows reports dashboards and deployment pipelines.
- Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance policies.
- Monitor platform performance capacity utilization and refresh schedules.
- Configure tenant settings security groups sharing policies and audit controls.
- Support report migration upgrades and new feature adoption.
- Troubleshoot data refresh connectivity and performance issues.
- Install configure and administer SAP BusinessObjects (BOXI/BOE) environments.
- Manage Central Management Console (CMC) CMS and BI Launch Pad.
- Administer universes security profiles folders and user access.
- Perform platform upgrades patches and migrations.
- Monitor system health scheduling services and report execution performance.
- Support Web Intelligence (WebI) Crystal Reports and publication management.
- Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery activities.
- Administer and support Wiiisdom 365 Suite environments.
- Configure BI governance automated testing metadata validation and report monitoring.
- Implement regression testing and impact analysis for Power BI and BusinessObjects assets.
- Support automated quality assurance processes for BI deployments.
- Monitor data quality report consistency and platform compliance.
- Collaborate with development teams for release validation and governance enforcement.
- Define and enforce BI platform governance standards.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Maintain platform documentation SOPs and operational runbooks.
- Monitor SLAs incident trends and platform availability.
- Support audit compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide L2/L3 support for analytics platforms.
- Strong administration experience with:
- Power BI Service
- Power BI Premium
- Microsoft Fabric
- Expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (BOXI/BOE 4.x) administration.
- Hands-on experience with Wiiisdom 365 Suite governance and testing tools.
- Experience with Azure AD Entra ID RBAC and security management.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Oracle Snowflake Databricks or other enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with REST APIs PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of ETL and Data Warehouse concepts.
- Experience in BFSI or regulated environments (preferred).
- Knowledge of CI/CD for BI deployments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform (preferred).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline.
- Microsoft Power BI Administrator/Fabric certification (preferred).
- SAP BusinessObjects Administration certification (preferred).
- Wiiisdom platform certification or relevant experience (preferred).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24x7 production environment.
- Proactive approach to platform modernization governance and automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale BI platforms with 10000 users (nice to have).
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting audit controls and data lineage requirements (nice to have).
- Exposure to Snowflake Databricks Power BI Fabric and enterprise data governance frameworks (nice to have).
