Join our team as a Senior PMO Manager! The Brooklyn Center facility positively impacts 14 million patients each year. As a Senior PMO Manager you will be responsible for building enhancing and governing the processes tools and operating mechanisms that enable consistent efficient and high-quality program execution across the organization. This role provides strategic leadership in defining how programs are planned resourced reviewed and measured and ensures that PMO frameworks align with business priorities and portfolio needs. Together we will build high performing future ready teams that not only exceed performance targets but set new benchmarks for manufacturing and engineering excellence.

Through strong cross-functional collaboration this role supports program managers in adopting best practices and fosters operational excellence across the product development lifecycle. The candidate for this role will establish strong relationships with peers to execute similar processes and practice both within the operating unit and across the enterprise.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate develop and manage projects for key business processes.

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning project team and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers line managers and clients.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required.

  • 7 years of relevant experience including broad multi-functional business experience along with5 years of people management anAdvanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience including broad multi-functional business experience in a highly regulated environment along with5 years of people management experience.

Nice to Have

  • Previousprogram management experience.

  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes projects and tactics in a matrix environment.

  • Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

  • Ability toestablishand maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across multiple organizations.

  • Familiaritywith enterprise level systems (ERP PDM PLM SAP ALM etc.).

  • Experience managing teams across different geographies remotely.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills negotiating; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to addressdifficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem solving. Strong written communication skills.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$149600.00 - $224400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
