Senior Plumbing Detailer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plumbing models and drawings to support fabrication and field installation
  

• Produce spool drawings and coordinated layouts for prefabricated plumbing systems
  

• Utilize Revit to create accurate BIM models for plumbing systems
  

• Create and maintain custom ITMs within CAD Fabrication MEP to support fabrication standards
  

• Coordinate plumbing layouts with structural architectural and other MEP trades
  

• Work closely with fabrication shops and field teams to ensure constructability and efficiency
  

• Review and interpret engineering drawings specifications and project documents
  

• Update models and drawings based on RFIs field conditions and coordination meetings
  

• 5 years of plumbing detailing experience within a plumbing or mechanical contractor environment
  

• Direct experience supporting plumbing pre-fabrication is required
  

• Advanced proficiency in Revit
  

• Strong experience with CAD Fabrication MEP including creating custom ITMs
  

• Solid understanding of plumbing systems fabrication workflows and installation practices
  

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical specifications
  

• Strong coordination and communication skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
  

• Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and clash detection
  

• Experience working directly with fabrication shops and field installation teams
