Job Summary

Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team youll design build and maintain secure reliable and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. Youll contribute to the technical direction of key projects write high-quality code and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop test and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
  • Build highly available scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Write high-quality maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and partner engineering teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring automation and documentation.
  • Continuously improve engineering practices tooling and development processes.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Java Go C Python or a similar language.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Knowledge of concurrency multithreading and asynchronous programming.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines automated testing and modern development practices.
  • Understanding of system security authentication protocols and compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP PCI DSS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Experience operating production cloud services.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI AWS Azure or GCP).
  • Experience with observability tools (metrics logging tracing).
  • Understanding of system security authentication protocols and compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP PCI DSS).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92500 to $209500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
