Senior Performance Engineer

All Options is looking for an experienced system support engineer to join our team in Austin TX. Youll be the person who understands our trading stack end to end knows the systems it depends on and acts when something is wrong during the trading day.

From day one you will work closely with traders and engineers on the trading floor staying close to critical systems and the people who rely on them. Whether youre resolving urgent production issues enabling seamless trade execution or diving deep into system behavior to identify and address root causes your impact will be immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve production issues across proprietary trading systems under live market conditions; order entry market data execution risk and the infrastructure underneath
• Own incident response end to end: triage escalation timelines postmortems and the follow-up engineering that prevents recurrence
• Build and enhance monitoring tools and dashboards to correlate system performance with trading outcomes including alerting and automation
• Play an active role in growing the system adding new products and onboarding new exchanges
• Drive continuous improvement and assess the teams tools workflows and operational processes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
• 5 or more years experience in technical support
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Shell) and experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux OS
• Ability to communicate clearly with both traders and developers and to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in leading a customer support team is a plus
• Experience with C or Rust is a plus
• Previous experience in a financial or trading environment is a plus
