Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in Check Point firewalls to support a large enterprise network security environment. This hands-on role is responsible for designing implementing and supporting firewall infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design implement and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
Manage Check Point R80 VSX CloudGuard and VMware NSX-T firewall environments.
Design and maintain firewall policies VPN solutions and cloud security controls.
Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network security incidents.
Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to implement secure network solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices.

Required Qualifications

6 years of enterprise network or network security engineering experience.
Current Check Point CCSE certification (or higher).
Hands-on experience with Check Point R80 VSX and Maestro.
Strong networking knowledge including routers switches VLANs OSPF and TCP/IP.
Experience securing AWS environments.
Scripting experience with Python Bash Ansible or Terraform.
Strong troubleshooting communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

VMware NSX-T Distributed Firewall experience.
Azure and/or GCP experience.
Experience with AlgoSec or FireMon.
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Cisco or cloud certifications.
