Description:
Quantum Sky is searching for a Senior Network Engineer to provide advanced technical leadership for enterprise network architecture engineering implementation optimization and troubleshooting. The position is responsible for complex network environments and provides technical guidance for modernization resiliency security and performance initiatives. The person in this role also serves as the top technical escalation point for network issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead implementation of enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/data center)
- Lead complex network projects including migrations redesigns and capacity expansions
- Serve as the highest-level technical escalation for critical network outages
- Establish network standards configuration baselines and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and vendors
- Mentor mid-level network engineers and review their designs and configurations
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams on network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives
