Job Summary
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for daily operational tasks within the global Network and Data Center team across several technologies such as Cisco and Palo Alto and similar. Daily tasks will be to perform system health checks ensuring clean and tidy IT rooms and managing the ITSM queues for incidents and requests along with project delivery support. In addition the role is expected to have a broader reach outside traditional IT silos to build relationships within all IT service user towers. The role will interact up to senior-level stakeholders globally regarding technical requirements and delivery and any associated infrastructure needs both BAU and project wise.

The Senior Network Engineer will update and mature infrastructure processes and documentation to ensure reliable and compliant network infrastructure and partner with team members to create ITKBs that will help drive incident resolution by the ServiceDesk. The Senior Network Engineer will in addition manage daily onsite tasks within the data center general campus network infrastructure and participate as an active member in the global network and data center team. The Senior Network Engineer will take part of an on-call rotation with the rest of the team as required. Principal Accountabilities: Background and Education Requirements: The Senior Network Engineer will work within the broader Digital Technologies organization to help drive IT/OT alignment being rolled out this role you will be required to interact with FDB vendors to ensure solutions are secure and always meet the business technical requirements. Technical Input in to external and internal audits about IT designs and services.The Senior Network Engineer will require the ability to make advise and drive decisions based on information gathered and assessed in consultation with IT and business leadership.
