Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer on behalf of our client in Atlanta GA to support the design development and management of enterprise-grade APIs and integration solutions. This role is ideal for a highly skilled integration professional with strong expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and modern API development practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to scalable secure and high-performing integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design develop and maintain APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

  • Build and manage reusable integration frameworks APIs and connectors.

  • Develop RESTful and SOAP-based integrations to support enterprise applications and business processes.

  • Create and maintain API specifications using RAML and OpenAPI Specification (OAS).

  • Work with MuleSoft components including API Manager Runtime Manager and DataWeave to ensure optimized API lifecycle management.

  • Collaborate with architects developers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions.

  • Troubleshoot test and optimize APIs for performance reliability and security.

  • Ensure best practices in API governance documentation and deployment processes.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience as a Senior MuleSoft Engineer or in a similar integration-focused role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including API design and integration development.

  • Solid understanding of REST SOAP RAML and OpenAPI Specification (OAS).

  • Experience with MuleSoft tools such as API Manager Runtime Manager and DataWeave.

  • Proficiency in Java XML JSON and related technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting state local or government-sector projects.

  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API-led connectivity architecture.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
