As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our Restoration & Renewal Practice you will independently lead complex building system evaluations renovation solutions and mechanical system upgrades. You will mentor staff guide project technical direction and contribute to client engagement and proposals.
What Youll Do
- Lead major mechanical system evaluations and upgrade solutions on complex projects.
- Prepare technical deliverables reports and documentation that communicate clearly with clients and teams.
- Coordinate with owners architects consultants and contractors to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth and technical excellence.
- Contribute to proposals thought leadership and client-facing opportunities.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- 6 years of mechanical engineering design experience ideally focused on existing building system evaluation renovation or adaptive reuse projects.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex challenges and develop engineering approaches.
- Curiosity initiative and desire to grow into a technical leader.
Compensation
The rate for this position generally is$115000-$ range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same pay rates may vary from the range as permitted byNew YorkEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors including operational needs individual education qualifications and experience work location and comparison to employee already in the role as well as other considerations permitted by law.
