Job Description
What you will be doing:
Provide mentorship and guidance to Mechanical engineers and designers.
Develop and manage project work plans.
Responsible for the systems selections basis of design and quality of the work product.
Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with project team members.
Represent the Mechanical discipline at client meetings and effectively communicate with clients as needed.
Coordinate the mechanical/plumbing design with other project disciplines and the Project Manager.
Provide construction phase support including submittal review and RFI response.
Maintain and develop mechanical/plumbing standards in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
Assist the Mechanical Director with mechanical/plumbing work product quality control.
Act as a senior mechanical engineering and design resource providing assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers in both HVAC and plumbing design.
Confer openly and directly in a respectful and professional manner with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop design.
Experience you will need:
Minimum of 8 years of focused mechanical/plumbing design experience.
Mechanical Engineering Professional license.
Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Trane Trace load calculation software.
Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers clients and the general public.
Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days. We work directly with the hiring manager and can arrange interviews within a few days
