Position Summary
This is a production design/engineering position. This Employee will be designing HVAC systems for projects to support senior level Engineers/Project Managers. Future project management opportunities available if qualified/desired.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently works and cohesively blends into the Company workforce. Follows the company standards. Able to perform duties independently without being supervised. Gets along with others.
- Excellent work ethic. Self-directed and motivated worker. Works even when the boss is not looking.
- Shows up on time and is willing to work as needed to finish the project within the time constraints as instructed.
- Able to self-manage workload schedule without supervision.
- 2D AutoCAD drawing. 3D Revit model drawing.
- Understands HVAC equipment selections such as AHUs Chillers CV & VAV boxes Pumps Heat exchangers and can produce schedules for such. Chilled water Hot water system design. Duct system design for Primary and Secondary systems.
- Field investigations
- Construction Administration.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in Commercial Mechanical HVAC systems design and understanding of system application in Healthcare facilities.
- PE a plus not required..
- Healthcare experience a plus
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience.
- Field knowledge required. Able to visit and walk existing project sites for renovation projects. Analyze existing conditions.
