Senior Market Business Development Manager- Building Components USA

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Building Components market strategy including market segmentation competitive analysis growth forecasting and prioritization of opportunities.
• Serve as the market expert for Building Components and represent Sika with customers industry associations and key stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities adjacent markets strategic partnerships and acquisition targets.
• Build business cases and market assessments to support investment and growth decisions.
• Define and support go-to-market strategies with Business Development Sales Product Management and Market & Customer Activation teams.
• Lead Voice of Customer programs and market intelligence activities to identify trends competitive developments and unmet customer needs.
• Translate market insights into innovation opportunities and collaborate with Product Management R&D and Technical Services to support commercialization efforts.
• Drive execution of market growth initiatives in partnership with Business Development Managers and Sales teams.

Accountability

• Accountable for the development and execution of the Building Components growth strategy.
• Maintain a pipeline of market opportunities aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Influence product portfolio innovation and market investment decisions through analysis and business case development.

Collaboration

• Work cross-functionally with Business Development Sales Product Management R&D Operations Technical Services and Market & Customer Activation teams.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align strategy priorities and growth objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Marketing Construction Management or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Spanish would be a preferred second language. 
• Minimum 15 years of proven success in market strategy business development commercialization or growth-focused leadership roles.
• Experience in factory-built building components including applications such as windows doors modular construction off-site construction tanks or related building systems.
• Strong strategic analytical and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience working in an matrix organization in an international environment
